COVID-19 UPDATE:

L. G. Harris & Co. Ltd. (Orkla House Care UK) reopens Bromsgrove Factory and Warehouse after Covid-19 Working Practices Review

Following a review of the Bromsgrove site we are pleased to announce that we will reopen our factory and warehouse to take orders from Monday 4th May.

New processes and workflows have been introduced in order to follow government guidelines on social distancing and hygiene.

All employees who can work from home will continue to do so in line with government guidance and the remainder of the site will stay shut until further notice.

COMPANY STATEMENT

31st March 2020

COVID-19 UPDATE:

L. G. Harris & Co. Ltd. (Orkla House Care UK) TEMPORARILY CLOSES     BROMSGROVE FACTORY

Due to the current Covid-19 virus, L.G. Harris & Co. Ltd. has temporarily closed  it’s factory on Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior.  The situation is being reviewed on a daily basis and further updates will be issued when appropriate.

Some L.G. Harris employees continue to work from home and our Chinese facility will continue to operate for FOB customers. The company is utilising the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme so that it can support employees whose roles are most affected by the closure.  All affected members of staff have been consulted regarding classification as furloughed workers, in order to avoid layoffs.
